Natural Pigment Workshop (Youth) (2 day workshop)
This is a FREE workshop.
(Donations are welcomed to facilitate future workshops if you feel inclined.)
This is a two day introductory workshop that will focus on how to use food waste and/ or natural plant matter to create pigments that can be used in a variety of ways. Ex: to make paints, pastels, etc. The workshop is for any youth, but BIPOC youth will be prioritized. (There will be another workshop for adults on another date.) This workshop is a reclamation practice. Restoring lost practices and information, and allowing it to live and grow through future generations. If you or your child are not of BIPOC decent, please wait until Friday (Jan. 31) to enroll. There is limited space.
